About the job as a Fire Alarm Technician

Are you a curious technician who wants to develop your interest in fire alarms? Then you might be the one we are looking for. As a fire alarm technician, you will be part of a team consisting of project designers, project managers, certified fire alarm engineers, supervisors, and installation and service technicians. Together, we work on the installation and service of our customers' various fire alarm systems. You will be responsible for planning, commissioning, and customer contact with the support of project/supervisors. As an ambassador for Avarn Security, you perform each assignment with professional pride and high standards of quality and safety. Some on-call work may be included in the position.

Workplace: Gothenburg

Working hours: Mon-Fri 07:00–16:00

Duration: Full-time, permanent, with a 6-month probationary period.

Start date: As soon as possible, by agreement.

Who you are

The role requires that you:

• Have at least three (3) years of experience in programming and commissioning fire alarm systems.
• Are a team player who is meticulous, quality-conscious, and can work independently.
• Are service-oriented, solution-focused, and have the customer in mind.
• Have the desire to actively participate in improvement work for continuous quality development.
• Have a valid driver's license B.
• Are a Swedish citizen.

It is an advantage if you also have:

• Worked as a lead installer.
• The ability to lead and engage others.
• Knowledge of the systems Schneider FX/FDP, SecuriFire, and Consilium.
• Experience as an electrician with the installation of fire alarm cables and assembly of fire alarm components.

Recruitment Process

To be employed, you need to pass a security clearance with checks in the police and county administrative board registers. The position may involve work subject to defense secrecy and therefore requires Swedish citizenship.
